I am home for the holidays.

Home for the Holidays really means two things:

1. Food with Relatives

2. Food with High School Friends

...Luckily I enjoy eating. 

However, my high school sweethearts and I took a brief hiatus from stuffing our faces with Christmas leftovers and had a photo shoot earlier this week. It was very fun and as we all got our SERIOUS model faces on, a kitty came up to me.

 I am a cat lover, and so I picked this cutie up. It started scrambling which freaked me out and I kind of, maybe, threw her. 

The result? This picture. I really hope there aren't kitty lawyers to prosecute me. There is some serious evidence that I should serve hard time for abuse. At least I look happy.

Props to you if you LOL'd at my pal's face. She's a keeper.

Other than that though, the shoot went great. Here is the final result:

In closing, I want you to take a second to see where I got that quote from. This video is SERIOUSLY great. It might've been my jam for a seriously LONG time back in 2011. 

She's definitely a hero of mine.

Introductions

"All the world is a laboratory to the inquiring mind"

That gem of a quote is from the German professor, and my main squeeze, Martin H. Fischer. I'm only telling you this because this is my introduction, and first and foremost, I want you to know that I am not one to plagiarize. It is quite a horrible trait and I like to think that I have very few of those.

So, that's me in the picture. My name is Kate, and so really, you can call me Kate. Sometimes I am referred to as Katie, but I don't believe I like that very much at all. I am a student at Brigham Young University (GO COUGARS) studying Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. So, as you can guess, I like to talk. A lot.

Anyways, what is the point of this blog? It really is for me to just unload all of my weird musings. I'll probably be posting a fair amount of information on my funny, and fun, roommates, my favorite song links, and maybe some lasagna recipes. I love good music and good  lasagna, doesn't everyone.
