Friday Night Adventures

I thought I told you, I'mma star

So, I'm back in classes.
And I'm taking two night classes this year.
...And this is how I spent my Friday night.

I know. I'm a rockstar. But really, I've actually had a FANTASTIC week back. I spent my time smooching men and getting A's on all my tests/projects. That is kind of a joke, but not really. You can  decide.

Regardless of the authenticity of my remarks, I did love this week back. I love being able to get in the swing of things. I went to work and class, and I loved every second of it. I also did get to see a lot of friends that I had missed.

And I had an excuse to wear my new Christmas jacket!

It's from J Crew and let me tell you: thinsulate is everything here in Provo. If you live somewhere cold and aren't snuggled up in it yet, GET ON IT!

Anyways, I am off to continue making fun videos of me on photo booth . Geez, I need a boyfriend, or a hobby...

Hats off to you!

Back to Provo

Everybody's working for the Weekend

Yes, Journey, even I am.
And I get to walk around. In this.
Twenty minutes from my apartment to work. In this.
Oh well, at least I'm getting paid!

So, I am BACK to Provo. I had to come up early (Tuesday) because I had work on Wednesday. Which meant that I was probably one of fifty students on campus. It was weird, but it made shopping so much easier. No one was at the grocery store last night.

But it's been crazy here. The temperatures that I have walked in have had a range of -8 to 0. Not okay. My poor ears! Luckily my super talented friend, Hannah, made me this for Christmas. She's a doll.
I've seriously been in this NONSTOP.

And although short grocery lines is definitely a perk, I really can not wait for people to arrive back to Provo. I miss my friends.
I miss people.
I miss free dinners made by others.
I miss school.
Wait, really? Yes. I do. It's whatever.

Luckily I've had Roller coaster Tycoon (Yes, people DO still play that) and the new(ish) Mumford and Sons album to dull my boredom at work away. Go America.

My new favorite song. I hope dearly that some attractive boy will serenade me with this before I leave on my  mission. A girl can dream, right?

Ring it in

"What Are You Doing New Years Eve?"

This is what I did.
And yes, I know, I am late.
It's the third.

New Years Eve was great for me! I spent the entire time hanging out with my old friends and drinking so much cider that I think I had a MEGA sugar high. It was the best.

Check out my dress:
It was shimmery and great. I had originally planned on buying (I actually DID buy) a sequin dress from Bebe. But after having the worst buyer's remorse ever (I spent $100 on something I KNEW I would never wear again), I settled on this dress from Forever 21. Turns out it was a major hit and I was the "sass mermaid" of the party. Total win.

So here's to a new year. 2012 was amazing. I loved it, and I can not wait to see what 2013 has planned for me. A new baby kitten? A hot husband? Nah. Something bigger and better.

Peace out 2012.

Here's the song that inspired my quote.

Can they just get married already?
